Description
While this is a standalone experience, the Chobe Princess makes a superb addition to a Victoria Falls holiday.
Combine two or three nights on the Chobe Princess, or the Zambezi Queen (ask us for details), with a stay at The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa for a memorable combination of wildlife, river and Victoria Falls experiences.
Guests flying into Kasane benefit from shorter transfer times, while transfers from Livingstone or Victoria Falls take approximately one to one and a half hours, depending on the border crossing. You are guided every step of the way though.
Keen photographers can enhance their stay by pre-booking the dedicated photography tender boat (please ask us for details), allowing more time to be spent at wildlife sightings and getting into the best position for photographs.
The houseboat experience is particularly well suited to couples, families and older children, with children aged seven years and older welcome.

Arrival
Upon arrival at the Kasane Immigration Office, you will be warmly greeted by a dedicated Chobe Princess representative, who will provide assistance with your luggage and guide you through the passport
control process. You’ll then take a boat transfer to the Chobe Princess, where you will be welcomed with an
introduction with drinks and lunch to follow.The afternoon is free for leisure activities, or if time permits, you can join a late afternoon river safari.
In the evening, savour a delicious 3-course dinner, after which you can truly unwind and enjoy the serene African night

Chobe River Safaris by Boat
You’ll enjoy up to three two-hour activities each day, with options including guided water-based game viewing, birding, fishing, cultural village visits, and photographic safaris (photographic safaris are offered at an additional cost).
Coffee and tea are served from 06h00 on the upper deck, with early mornings ideal for activities such as tiger fishing or birding excursions before returning on board for breakfast at 08h00. After breakfast, guests may enjoy a village tour or a scenic game cruise along Chobe National Park aboard a tender boat, or simply relax on board as the vessel gently cruises the river.
Lunch is served mid-afternoon, followed later by an often thrilling tender boat safari, when elephants are frequently seen crossing from the islands back to the mainland against a spectacular sunset backdrop. The day ends on the upper deck with a relaxed evening drink and a scrumptious dinner!

Disembark
Start your morning with a fresh juice or freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea.
Be on the lookout for wildlife as you enjoy the morning cruise during your buffet breakfast. Prepare to disembark the Chobe Princess for passport control. If you have an onward flight, a short road transfer will take you to Kasane Airport. Alternatively, if you’re continuing your African adventure, meet your transfer representative at Kasane Immigration Office for a convenient road transfer to your next destination.
