Suggested Itinerary
Day 01
Arrive from Johannesburg just after lunchtime where will you will be met and transferred to the David Livingstone Hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure Dinner is served from 7pm, make sure you are on the deck for sundowners.
Day 02
After breakfast take a Transfer down to the Victoria falls and do a guided tour ( your own account ) Enjoy lunch at the Rainbow cafe ( own account ) Take a tour of the market or visit one of the pubs in town. Transfer back to the David Livingstone in time to board the Lady Livingstone for a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River.
Day 03
After breakfast enjoy your day at leisure. If it's White water rafting season take a trip down the Zambezi the difficult way. White water rafting season is closed around April/ May depending on the rains. For the wild rides you need to be there low water (July to mid-February) The high water season is from mid-February to June when the Zambezi is in flood. If you need something more sedate to do, The Flight of Angels helicopter flip over the Falls gives you an eagles eye view of the whole area.
Day 04
Enjoy your morning at leisure before checking out at 10am and transferring across the border to Chobe Safari Lodge in Botswana Enjoy the afternoon at leisure before embarking on a game drive in the afternoon.
Day 05
After breakfast try a spot of fishing perhaps or just chill next to the river with a pair of binoculars to spot any local wildlife. Take a Sundowner river cruise along the Chobe and get a chance to see the elephants at drinking from and playing in the waters along the Chobe river Dinner is served from 7pm, make sure you are on the deck for sundowners.
Day 06
After breakfast enjoy your morning at leisure before getting a transfer to Livingstone airport and your flight back to Johannesburg
